#475: We didn't go to the awards this year and we have not received any items from you, how can we have our winner kits?
A' Design Award professional edition winner kits are distributed free of charge during the gala night at the stage to attending award winning designers, and after the gala night we have a period that lasts usually a month during which the laureates who were not able to attend the ceremony could request the delivery of their winner kits to their addresses, after paying for their shipment of the parcels as well as confirming their postal addresses. We send several reminder emails about these each year, however it is the participant's responsibility to ensure that our emails are received; it is the participant's responsibility because we cannot remotely monitor or control the email systems of thousands of people; individuals who are not receiving updates from the A' Design Award must make sure to white-list or add to trusted senders lists or contact list our domain adesignaward.com as well as our support email, this information is noted during registration. All that being said, after a few months from gala night, we close the delivery system and we dismantle the winner kits and reuse the components; we take out all items from the abandoned kits such as books, gifts and merchandise, and send them to press members who might feature our laureates, free of charge to create an additional value for winners, and therefore it is usually not possible to request deliveries to your address if you are too late. If you did not claim your kit during gala and if you did not order your kit for delivery one-month after gala, your kit is most likely no longer available; we probably shipped your book to prominent press members, gave your gifts to editors, distributed your merchandising to design associations and recycled your certificates, thus if you need to have your kit remade, you need to pay for a late request fee plus shipment fee so that we could prepare it once again for you (please kindly note that sometimes we do not have all items remaining; books or other content might be already exhausted in this case you could have credits added to your account for guaranteed items which might not be available in your kit - this does not apply to gifts or other complimentary items), and also we would need a little time to prepare the components once again. In most cases, once you make a request or inquiry about your winner kit long after gala night, we activate the delivery section of your control panel so that you could request a delivery; to make a request you could login to your control panel, click on post competition tab and check the delivery section and make a request by completing the procedure. Please also kindly note that this procedure applies for professional edition entries as we do not invite digital edition winners to the gala night and digital edition winners do not have a complimentary winner kit.
