#498: What do you mean you have cancelled my winner kit shipment after I open a payment dispute right after results announcement? Why did I also get negative credits for that?
It is written in the delivery and winner kit shipments page that the winner kits would be shipped only after the gala night and award ceremony; because we give, at the gala night and award ceremony the winner kits free of charge and we want to ensure that if a designer changes his or her mind last minute to attend the gala night they would be able to get their winner kit, trophy, certificate, yearbook, winner flag and other merchandise at stage. If you open a payment dispute right after you order a winner kit, shortly after results announcement, before the gala-night, because you did not receive your item within three days, we would like to remind you that first of all it takes us time to customize your winner kit, print your name, your posters and certificates, print the hardcover yearbooks, get certificates, get trophies and more. Since you are an award winning, intelligent designer, we honestly believe that you would already know that it would take us substantial time to prepare and customize yearbooks, certificates, trophies, and the winner kit; we believe; as a smart, award winning designer, you already know that it would take us long time to prepare and customize the winner kit let alone ship it in three days or even in two weeks; therefore we consider all paypal disputes opened regarding winner kit shipments are made in bad faith; especially considering that it is clearly noted in our delivery page that all winner kits would be shipped after the gala night. Furthermore, while we are in a very busy period trying to put together everything now we have to deal with your paypal dispute; in this case, instead of dealing with your paypal dispute we outright refund it. Since we refund your paypal payment, you will need to re-order a winner kit but please keep in mind that it might cost more to order as the cost of ordering winner kits increase as time passes, this is especially true since when you open a dispute we cancel your order, contact our suppliers and cancel your trophy, certificate, yearbook and other customized items as well and now it would take us more time to prepare it. Furthermore, since it takes us time to take all these actions we are also obliged to credit your account for negative account credits regarding payment dispute process as noted in terms and agreements. We advise you to read the notes in delivery page once again before ordering your winner kit; especially please understand that we will not deliver anything before gala. Please also understand that we believe you would already know that it would take long time to prepare and customize your items. Please also understand that when you open a payment dispute, while we are actually not legally obliged to refund you, it is too bothersome not to refund since we would need to provide a lot of documentation each time a dispute is opened and if we decide not to refund you that is not economically feasible and therefore we are technically almost obliged to refund you from the payment processor but you will get negative credits because we might have already paid for production of your items and especially customized items cannot be refunded or given a way to another person and is just a negative cost. Furthermore when you open a dispute in payment processor, we need to show them in a set amount of time that we ship the items, and since you open a dispute too early, we cannot provide such a document, and not providing a document would result you winning the dispute; and thus in the end, it would put us in a bad situation as if we were trying to take your money and not ship you anything. So if you do not want to pay in advance and wait, just order the winner kit after gala night, but of course you will pay a late order fee. So, in the end, we refund payments but you will not get the winner kit and you will need to reorder and also you will pay more if you order late and also you have negative credits noted since it creates us a huge problem each time a dispute process is opened. We invite you to read the notes in delivery and shipments page before you order anything more. Also depending on the payment processor, we get charged a lot of money each time a dispute is opened; now some digital payments don’t do that but especially credit card processors charge us a lot of money each time someone opens a payment dispute therefore you might be charged for negative credits.
