Unlike the Pro or Digital Editions that bundle comprehensive services at no further cost, the Vision Edition keeps all value-added offerings optional to ensure entry fees are kept minimal, creating value for you during participation and nomination. Components such as yearbook inclusion, being featured in the winner’s showcase, participating in the gala-night, getting a physical trophy, accessing an extensive PR campaign, translation services, or publication in global media networks are available à la carte (you will be presented with 9 packages and 2 products that you could aquire at your sole discretion as optional add-on on-demand, without any obligation for purchase). You pay for these add-ons only if they align with your strategic goals post-win.

If your work shows strong promise, you might opt for a more inclusive edition—like the Pro Edition—to secure all services upfront. Otherwise, stick with the Vision Edition to maintain full control and pay only for those enhancements that truly add value once you’ve confirmed your winning status. The Vision Edition gives you what you need to claim your title as an award-winning designer, and then lets you decide how far you want to go in leveraging that achievement. Vision Edition is a flexible, low-risk, and entirely transparent approach, ensuring that you never pay for services or benefits you don’t fully intend to use.

License, Declaration, Concealment and Publication for Vision Edition Entries
For the Vision Edition, licenses are not required at the time of nomination. However, if your work is selected as a winner and you choose to purchase the optional On-Demand Publication Service to showcase your work on the A' Design Award platform, you will need to upload the appropriate license during the publication process. Additionally, a declaration document is mandatory for Vision Edition entries. The Vision Edition does not inherently offer concealment. By default, your work will remain concealed until the Publication Service fees are paid. Once payment is completed, your work will be made public only if it falls under a non-concealed category. If confidentiality is important, nominate your work in a concealed category to ensure it remains private, even after results are announced or publication fees are paid. If you wish your work to be publicly showcased after the results are announced, nominate it in a non-concealed, public category. For Vision Edition entries, publication is only possible after purchasing the optional on-demand Publication Service.

Design Rankings and Classifications
There are no differences between winning the Vision Edition and Professional Edition when the World Design Rankings and the Designer Rankings are considered. There are also no differences in terms of Design Classification rankings based on award categories. Learn more about Design Rankings.

No Winner Fees
If you join via vision edition entry method, you do not have to make any contractually obliged winner fees. However certain parts of the A' Design Prize will only available as an optional add-on on-demand product, giving you financial flexibility to tailor your recognition to your needs.

Evaluation & Eligibility
Both the Vision Edition and the Professional Edition adhere to the same rigorous evaluation principles and methodology. This includes the use of a consistent voting system, preliminary checks, and a design award jury that employs identical score points and weights across both editions. Furthermore, the jurors are unaware of whether a submission is part of the Digital or Professional Edition, ensuring an unbiased review process. Consequently, the evaluation standards for both the Professional Edition and Vision Edition are identical. Additionally, the submission mechanisms and presentation requirements for both editions are exactly the same, guaranteeing that all entries, regardless of their submission method, are evaluated on a level playing field. Preliminary checks are recommended for entries in both the Vision and Professional Editions, with the same checking service provided for each. Participants entering through the Vision Edition also have the option to request the Express Evaluation Service for free. Entry into all competition categories through the Vision Edition is open, with no differences in eligibility.
