#335: At the end of the competition, I would like to ask you about preliminary score, it decreased the last day, can you please increase it?

No we cannot increase. It is not possible, especially it is impossible the last day as a preliminary jury member needs to check, the reason of the decrease, even if you improved the quality of entry can be explained only by the fact that your entry was checked by a different another jury member, with a different view and idea on design, thus you might have received a less preliminary score, but your preliminary score is not important at this step; if your entry is nominated, this score does not effect your vote or final outcome, the grand jury panel does not see your preliminary score to ensure they do not have an anchoring effect during voting. Furthermore, we shall note a further increase or decrease could be potentially possible if you modify your design, it would be voted again, during this voting the preliminary scores reset, so if you change your entry, and then your entry after changes is voted again, it could have different preliminary scores.
