“This year, I decided to submit my work to the A’ Design Award — officially for the first time (well, maybe I submitted once 7–8 years ago, but completely forgot about it). We carefully selected the projects that we felt were worth entering. Both Jorakay Pavilion 2024 and KTB Money Expo 2024 received a preliminary score of 9/10 from the A’ Design Award evaluation system. Before making payment, the platform provides a preliminary assessment to give you confidence — but of course, it doesn’t guarantee you’ll win anything. We also tested submitting OB House, which scored around 6.5–7/10. At first, I considered not submitting it — but then changed my mind. Earlier this month, the final results were announced:2 Golds and 1 Bronze. I was truly impressed by the accuracy and fairness of A’ Design Award’s evaluation process. Even though you’re hoping for the best with each entry, the consistency between the preliminary score and the final outcome shows that this award is not about luck or personal taste, but about a thoughtful, reliable, and respectful system that truly understands the intention behind each design. I highly recommend more designers from our region submit next year. You can make an informed decision before committing. And for those aiming for Platinum, I believe your preliminary score will need to be in the 9.1–10 range. Hopefully, one day, we’ll get there too.” |
