Skall is inspired by Aztec culture and the symbolic golden eagle. The design consists of six different options, each in a glass or metal finish. Each option bears a unique illustration of an Aztec God. Three glass options are special editions, containing standard alcohol and a syrup extract. The alcohol and modest syrup glass vessels are stacked in a hand-crafted leather housing and in a wooden box, adorned by the more revered of Aztec Gods. In contrast, the Metal line have a gold, silver and bronze finish and are presented in a white leather case, highlighting the secondary Aztec Gods.

Melissa Xiao Xue Han Ruiz was born in Oaxaca, Mexico in 1994. Is a creative graphic designer specialized in package design, She’s earlier career included roles as a freelance designer with Chinese brands, Mexican packaging clients, illustrations and ornamental lettering. Melissa Han completed her bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design at Tsinghua University Academy of Art and Design in Beijing, China. After graduating She received the Excellent Graduation project and the highest thesis score of the class of 2017, She also got the SGDA Shenzhen Graphic Design Association 2018 Scholarship. In 2018 She joined to TigerPan Packaging Design Co. in Shenzhen as a packaging designer. Currently collaborating with TigerPan and some prestigious brands of China as Snow Beer, Changyu Brandy, and WangLaoJi Herbal Tea.

Skall Mezcal is a Mexican handcrafted Mezcal brand prototype, created by the Mexican designer Melissa Xiao Xue Han Ruiz in 2017. The brand is especially focused on the most famous alcoholic beverage produced in Oaxaca, Mexico. The main goal of Skall Mezcal is to inspire and attract more consumers to know the beautiful and mysterious history of the Aztec culture and their god's background, also to change and enlarge the perspective of the traditional Mezcal package. Otherwise, Skall Mezcal aims to highlight the difference between Tequila and Mezcal. The Brand line consists of Mezcals named 'Quetzalcoatl Gold', 'Mictlanteculti Silver', Tezcatlipoca Bronze', 'Xolotl metal' and 'Tlaloc metal'. Apart from mezcal, The brand also has a line of Agave sweet syrup, made from the Maguey plant and spices as a secret ingredient for sweet cocktails.
