FLORA INDICA is an intriguing new bar & restaurant serving contemporary Indian cuisine within an eclectic mix of Kensington residential elegance, 19th century industrial heritage, botanical Art & Craft and Victorian-inspired fantasy setting. During Georgian and Victorian times, tens of thousands of plants were discovered, labelled and studied in nurseries throughout India and Great Britain, for scientific and commercial purposes. The design concept include elements such as Harris Tweed fabrics to celebrate many of the Scottish botanists who brought back these plants and knowledge.
Blue Sky Hospitality is a multi-disciplinary design studio specialised in the creation of branded concepts for the entertainment, leisure and hospitality industries. The studio was founded in 2002 by Henry Chebaane, Brand Strategist and Chief Creative Officer, who is also an artist, novelist and music producer. Blue Sky Hospitality has worked with many individual investors and most major hotel brands, contributing to over 400 projects in 40 countries, from the holistic design of single high-performance signature hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs to multiple roll-out global concepts.
Flora Indica is a brand created, designed and curated by Henry Chebaane as an alternative to the mundane Indian restaurants found usually in the market. This innovative British-Indian 100 seats restaurant and bar has its first location on Old Brompton Road in the Royal Borrough of Kensington & Chelsea.
