Abt Associates engaged Think Design for designing tool kit to reduce delay along the care pathway for Pneumonia and Diarrhea in rural Bihar, thereby reducing high infant mortality rate. The project started with a brief secondary research, followed by extensive field research and rapid ethnography. By employing optimal research tools, Think Design and Abt Associates identified specific areas of intervention along with key stakeholders for adoption. The solution is pictorial, instructional, paper based and locally manufactured, thus making it affordable and sustainable.
