In 2007, she received her master degree and in 2011 she received her PhD degree from the same department of İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University. She is the head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts Design and Architecture, Atılım University, Ankara, Turkey. She also is the director of graduate program. Her previous professional experience has included appointments as a research assistant and instructor, and she is currently works as an Asst. Prof. Dr. in the same department. She has published articles in various international journals and edited books, and her current research and teaching interests include interior design studio, color theory and psychology of color, color-emotion associations, space and emotion, lighting in interior spaces and wayfinding strategies.
STATEMENT OF ART:Even though I have working on my academic career, I have always been fascinated and excited about design and architecture. For me, designing has a crucial potential that renews people and improves their perspective towards every aspects of life. Beside from my passion to read and write scientific researches and share them with academic environment, I also want to continue to create designs that appeal to my own imaginative world.
