About John Cruz : John Cruz is a designer of humanitarian inventions. With almost 20 years of experience in the computer graphics industry coupled with his engineering education, John tackles to solve some of the most pressing problems facing refugees and homeless people through innovative design. His current area of focus is in designing versatile, mobile, modular and durable accommodations for refugees in camp -settlements. Using these criteria, John designed and invented Rush - an expandable hard-shelled wagon capable of housing up to 4 people, and capable of creating larger temporary structures such as a school or a field hospital.
