| DESIGN NAME: Longfor Nanjing Paradise Walk PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mixed-Use Shopping Mall INSPIRATION: The concept “Dancing Nanjing” is adopted well through the facade and the massing of the whole building, from the podium to the tower, a streamline gone through, from the ground to the top. The facade, mainly specifying the inspiration, is made by glass and aluminum board. For aluminum board, various mode with same size is applied to create a flying sink ribbon, echoing specially with the Yangtze River, which feeds Nanjing City in all ages. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Longfor Nanjing Paradise Walk is located in Jiangbei New District, the mix-use shopping mall with apartments is a signature icon of the Jiangbei Area. An axis extend from the northern civil green land formed a pedestrian axis which attract people from surrounding blocks to the retail mall. The L shape mall connect closely with the customers coming from urban area. Nature meets human here while creativity and retail have an amazing spark. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The facade is main composed by Glass curtain wall system, as well as aluminum facade system. The glass curtain wall system is composed by: main entrance glass curtain wall system, ground floor glass curtain wall system, non-ground floor glass curtain wall system, interlayer glaze glass curtain wall system, and etc.. The aluminum boards are in eight kinds: rhombohedral punching panel, aluminum canopy, grey horizontal aluminum panel, oblique collage grey aluminum panel and so on. The main entrance glass curtain wall system applied in the entrances located in the south-west corner and the south-east corner. Hidden frame vertical steel columns are made by lateral bridge thermal insulated per-manufactured material, and the glass is 12+12A+12MM ultra clear glass divided into 2100mm x 2900mm rectangular shape. The coating is powder coating inside while fluorocarbon outside, and the glass canopy is decorated in glaze interlayer vacant. Ultra white glass is used for all main entrance and shopping wall located in the east and the west, while insulating low-E glass is adopted by significant function area where does not have wall, such as children playground, book store and fitness room. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project has 351,600 square meters.
