| DESIGN NAME: Music Against Animal Cruelty (MAAC) PRIMARY FUNCTION: Logo INSPIRATION: Creating clean, simple and meaningful design has been Katrina's priority since the beginning of her Graphic Design career. She strongly believes that less is more and in this case, she wanted to depict the two very different fields - wildlife conservation and music - in the clearest, simplest and most powerful way possible. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Logo concept for non-profit organisation - MAAC (Music Against Animal Cruelty) which strives to conserve wildlife by raising funds through large scale music festivals and events. The logo unites both objectives by forming the elephant trunk and tusk into a music note. NAME: Music Against Animal Cruelty PROFILE: MAAC (Music Against Animal Cruelty) is a non-profit organization with one simple directive: to aid in wildlife conservation. Conceived by Jonny White of Art Department and longtime friend and founder of Pulse Radio, Wade Cawood, in collaboration with Tears for Tigers founder Jack Baucher, MAAC acts as a broker between musicians, the music industry and music fans, and organizations who are working on initiatives to save various animals facing the dangers of a diminishing population and/or extinction. |
