PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Building
INSPIRATION: In the iconic facade, the scenic lighting system was designed with systems in high performance LED technology. The sculpture, facade, reflects the concept of the project destined to the generation Y, being this the conceptual design for the development of the project.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design of a sculptural metallic mask that turns the concrete structure of the building, from a heavy volume to a sinuous form, which becomes a landmark for the city and the pedestrians.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project is based on being an iconic urban landmark in the neighborhood that is inserted, and also as a sculpture with the function of reducing the visual impact of the building base, in relation to pedestrians.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2015 in Itajai, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Finished in June 2018.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Galvanized Steel, ACM Aluminum Composite Material, LED Light.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Iconic sculpture, built in steel and ACM, Aluminum Composite Material, covering two facades, height of 16 meters and length of 58 meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design research was in the visual sense, sculpture, having as research objective the relation of generation Y with the urban environment. The data collection was done with research of images of similar projects and the organic design. Presenting as a real result in business and society, the direct relationship of users, pedestrians who are in their surroundings and in the neighborhood as an icon.
CHALLENGE: The most complex part of the design and execution process was the difficulty of customers and builders in accepting to insert the iconic design into a commercial building.
Socially and economically, we do not invest in constructive design and innovation in small and medium-sized cities in the interior of Brazil, developing this project was a great challenge for our region.
