| DESIGN NAME: Wuhan City PRIMARY FUNCTION: Logo INSPIRATION: The logo adopts the "Chinese character" of Chinese culture as the prototype, and incorporates the English letters "W" and "H" beginning with "Wuhan" to symbolize Wuhan's multi-culture and vitality. Wuhan has more than 800 years of ancient culture, the ancient bronzeware and lacquerware elements extracted, and with modern expression techniques show. It also shows the traditional philosophy of "harmony between man and nature" in Chinese culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This work is the logo of Wuhan World Design City, which was adopted by Wuhan City and UNESCO and represents the city image of Wuhan. It not only conveys the contemporary design concept of Wuhan but also incorporates traditional Chinese culture and thought. In October 2017, Wuhan, China became the "City of Design" in the United Nations creative network city. In November, a ceremony was held in Paris. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Logo Used for nameplate of Wuhan "city of design" Ceremony, awarded by UNESCO. In addition, it is also applied to all kinds of large-scale design activities organized and propagandized by the government of Wuhan. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This work, of the project started in October 2017 in Wuhan, China and finished in November 2017 in Wuhan, is used by Wuhan city government.In November 2017, a ceremony and exhibition were held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
