Limited vintage brandy
This project's task was to create a complex design solution for a band of vintage brandy. The agency had to emphasize the product's unique character and the application of classic French production technologies. This aspect has become the main inspiration for the development of the solution, which was selected by the client as the most suitable for their needs.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Creating a complex trademark design solution while also emphasizing classic techniques and spiritual connection with the best French cognacs - this project called for an inventive and creative approach. That's why the main emphasis was placed on the brand's recognizability, which was expressed through the accentuated brand logo and production inception year. At the same time the overall feel of the design was carried out in a tone common to classic French cognacs.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This design serves the purpose of attracting the attention towards the product and make it stand out on the shelf. Thanks to the noble color scheme and introduction of gold foil stamp elements, this brandy catches the eye and creates the impression of a high-class product. The effect is amplified when the bottle comes in the special gift box, which creates the impression of something that was recently taken out from noble cellars and placed on the shelf as an exclusive offer.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in November 2014 and was concluded 2014. The product appeared on Russian market shelves in January 2015.

While developing this design we've provided employment of modern printing and post-printing techniques such as foil stamping, embossing and the application of tactile varnish. The printing was carried out using high quality artistic paper, which allowed, in combination with various techniques, obtaining the best embodiment for the packing and providing the best sensations while handling the product near the product shelf.

While developing the solution for this trademark our agency has studied many examples of classic French cognac packing. The client has tasked us to emphasize the product's link with its spiritual origin country, while making the product high-class and attractive. This was the direction we've thrown our main forces at while developing the solution, exploring the possibilities for merging classic elements and modern design trends.
Developing a complex packing solution for such a specific product as brandy isn't an easy task. It's important to take the main consumer group of this product into account, the type of people who anticipate a certain degree of status and temperance in packing. With this project we had to emphasize the product's high quality, traditional production techniques and also make it stand out compared to other drinks on the shelf.
