Etsy Annual Report
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Publication Design
INSPIRATION:
Etsy as an inspiration made me decide to create the artistic design using the hand lettering and illustrations to create a unique work. By designing the annual report my attempt was to rise above the standard expectations and make everyday item entertaining.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg, USA is a great place to learn and grow as a future desiner. Goal was to create artistic annual report that will keep one reading it from cover to cover. Booklet is 22 pages (cover, and 18 pages) in color. Informational and entertaining at the same time.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Creating the artistic and entertaining annual report can influence the potential share holders to part-take in the business even more.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Three and half weeks effective work time over the period of eleven weeks of the fall semester in 2014.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
After one week of research and planning project was completed with Adobe InDesign as main program along with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for all additional alterations.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
22 page booklet ( cover, and 18 pages) 8.5"x11" finished size.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Explored all websites like Behance, Pintrest,...as well as Etsy,for inspirational purposes. With the help and advice of my instructor decided to create something that is artistic and entertaining as well as informational.
CHALLENGE:
Browsing through the large data base of graphic design it become clear that is hard to stand out from the crowd. Taking something that is mostly designed in clean readable form and making a twist by adding illustration combined with photography is my attempt to create annual report that would justly represent what Etsy is about.

PROFILE:
The Illinois Institute of Art is a four year school that provides Art Certificates, Associate and Bachelor Degrees. During my time at the ILIS I created many designs, and one of them is Etsy Annual Report. This design was intended to demonstrate publication skills, creativity and innovation in graphic design.
