| DESIGN NAME: The Mystery of Golden Peach PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sculpture INSPIRATION: With our tribute to the spirit of the multi-inclusive of the Tang Dynasty. The golden peach is a very special symbol through our whole story. Xi'an W as the beginning of the great silk road, thus we can do the creative process of art, we read through the Tang Dynasty with great enthusiasm and curious. With the vivid culture, we create the wonderful story of let people feels like they are in the Tang Dynasty as the very moment when they entry W hotel. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The mystery of golden peach is a representative contemporary art sculpture of Xi'an W. Samarkand contributed golden peach to the Tang Dynasty as a symbol of external-culture. The Tang maid holds the golden peach in their hands, the sense of size gradual progressive of form, guiding people to change the perspective, looking for the unique form of fun of the Tang Dynasty etiquette and exploring the mystery of the infinite loop of the golden peach. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This sculpture uses the figure of Tang Dynasty Ladies, the golden peach is the classic symbol of the tribute objecrs from other country, this work expressed the object that the lady showed tribute to the emperor, guests will feel the sense of honour and they would love to know the whole story so that they will take a look at all the artworks while this one is just like a start point, guests will go find others and they are telling a whole story. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in the summer of 2017 in Xi'an and finished in August 2018 in Xi'an. By August 2019, the W Hotel has been open for one year. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Copper, Resin, 24K Gold, Metal matte oxidation processing SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: W1224mm*D1959mm*H192 TAGS: Art, Sculptures, Local art, Hotel art RESEARCH ABSTRACT: A wormhole appeared in parallel time and space between Xi’an W and Tang Dynasty. We use artistic imagery built to instantly enter the Tang Dynasty. With hundreds of dancing horses, strolling in Chang'an, listening to music, watching from the distance of the smile of the big Ming Palace's tail, closely watching the Danfengmen's peach petals flying. Thus, Xi’an W, it is a beautiful floating sky garden. CHALLENGE: The land of peach blossoms , peach trees, peach blossoms, peaches, and the peach seeds are infinitely transformed. With the contemporary art landscape that will constitutes the architectural space.
