DESIGN NAME: All In One Experience Consumption
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Infographic With Animated Gif
INSPIRATION: In Korea, the number of Indoor experience groups who prefer to act in the indoor space rather than the outdoor activities is increasing, so consumption in the complex shopping mall where various experiences can be done in one place is also increasing. I focused on these changes, naming keywords as All-In-One, and conceptualizing the complex shopping mall play space where we can eat, enjoy, decorate and play together in a space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The "All In One Experience Consumption" project is a Big Data Infographic showing information such as the purpose, type, and consumption weight of visitors to complex shopping malls.
The main contents are composed of three representative Insights derived from the analysis of the Big Data, and they are arranged from top to bottom according to the order of importance. The graphics are done using isometric techniques and are grouped into using the representative color of each subject. It is designed to stimulate interest through the looks of people like toys and increase confidence by placing bar charts together.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Through infographics using graphic design elements and moving images in Gif format, I maximized the effect of generating interest and information transmission by analyzing algorithms that can identify consumers' consumption trends by analyzing social media data. The gif form infographic on one page is easy to share, spread, and more specific to the delivery of the situation.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2017 and finished in March 2017 in the Republic of Korea.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: I extracted keywords of consumption trends through social data analysis and set them as themes of each section.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: By organizing and analyzing big data on consumption by age, region, commercial district, and channel, I have captured keywords for consumption trends and found Insight by connecting related data in various ways.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to analyze the consumption trend and derive insight from what perspective. Based on the insights derived, each insight was developed with a design style that fits well.
Also, Some Challenges I faced how to convey visualizations so that people can be interested and easily understood. Gif also needed to be careful not to damage the content of the infographic.
