Nischal Abhaykumar, the designer of the award winning design The Courtyard says “The Courtyard is located on a busy street in central Bangalore. It is a community space that enables various workshops and showcase for local brands, art performances and social gatherings. It also has a café and acts as a dedicated space for people to associate with diverse art forms. The entire space is an amalgamation of two buildings that belong to two different eras, separated by a connecting courtyard.
