Sravan Satheesh, the lead designer of the winning project Loop explains “The unique design of LOOP is entirely function oriented, ensuring complete conversion of microwave energy to heat water in mere seconds. The edge-less curved shape of loop is designed to have easy propagation of microwaves. The shape also enables the product to be 60cm long, which is the minimum length required by the water to absorb the incoming microwave energy.
