Chika Kakazu, the lead designer of the winning design Marathon T Shirt explains “As a complimentary service for marathon runners, the original icons were designed and provided as heat transfer labels so as to create one of a kind customized T-shirts at a caffe in Tokyo. To make it a memorable gift for runners from all over the world, the icons were reflected on Japan and marathon themes like Mt.
