Francis Assadi is a self-taught designer coming from a background of photography and filmmaking. For the last fifteen years he has worked as a TV-Producer and director for United Nations Peacekeeping Missions in Afghanistan, Burundi and Lebanon. He has traveled extensively and lived in several countries throughout the world, learning about other cultures and peoples and paying particular attention to their sense of art and creativity. His Design Studio, which he established in 2016, takes inspiration from these travels and time with other cultures and seeks to instill a sense of openness, curiosity and experimentation into its quest for creativity and originality in modern design.
