Charlotte Friis is an international designer and founder of Charlotte Friis Design, working across furniture, lighting, product, spatial and communication design. Her work combines function, innovation, storytelling, materials and user participation, focusing on adaptive design systems and research into circular thinking, cultural variation and sustainability within professional practice. She holds an MA in Communication Design from the Royal College of Art in London and pursued Furniture and Lighting Design at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. Her work has been presented internationally, and one of her lighting designs forms part of the permanent SaloneSatellite Collection in Milan. The Prestige Awards named Charlotte Friis Design Home Décor Brand of the Year – Scandinavia.
