Alexander Wong is a multi-award-winning Architect and writer based in Hong Kong. A post-graduate from Princeton University, he established his own design firm Alexander Wong Architects in 2001. Wong specializes in designing luxury homes for A-List clients in the movie industry whilst creating original and innovative designs in Architecture and Interior Design for leisure, retail, hospitality and cultural projects. In 2013 & 2015, Wong has been selected by AD (Architectural Digest) China as one of the 100 Top Architecture & Design Talents in China. His firm has won over 88 International Design Awards including Asia's Most Influential Designer Award (AMIDA) 2022 at Designer Of The Year (DOTY) Awards 2023 (Malaysia). Other awards include Platinum A' Design Award 2017(Italy), HKIA Emerging Hong Kong Architects Award (2004), HKIA Award for Members' Work Outside of Hong Kong (2005) and German Design Award 2018 & 2020. His firm has won the coveted “World’s Best Interior Design” Awards Four Times at the International Property Awards held in London for “Carmen Futura” (2017), “WM Hotel” (2023), “Vivace ‧ Ice & Fire” (2024), “Spiral Sky & Ocean Aria” (2025), thus making Alexander Wong Architects the only company that has ever won four times in the category of the World’s Best Awards, the highest accolades at the International Property Awards held in London. Wong explains, “Design to me is this unique journey to explore new ways of creating meanings through spatial manipulation based on culture, history, technology and art. Ultimately, Architecture is about Time (or Spacetime to be exact) and our place as a human civilization in relation to the Universe within this so-called Reality. It is extremely profound and deeply rooted in rituals.” His published works include「Naked + White」(2005) and「ARCHIPHANTASY」(2021).
