His journey has adopted this Grab-and-Go attitude to life and taken him on many different, wonderful adventures around the world.   As CEO and Inventor of mifold® Grab-and-Go Booster Seat® Jon has both a job and a passion.  Having created the ultra compact child restraint category with mifold, Jon’s vision is to protect every child, in every car, on every journey, every time.  Launched in May 2016, there are already more than a quarter of a million mifold grab-and-go booster seats being used worldwide.  It started in 2001, when Jon had a vision to create a child car safety seat that was so compact and portable that his four children could keep one with them all the time and be safe, no matter whose car they were in.  It took a few years, and now his children are too old for booster seats, yet he is delighted that at this moment there are hundreds of thousands of parents and caregivers worldwide benefiting from his invention. The simple fact is that today, there are still at least 20% of journeys where children do not have a car seat: in carpools, with grandparents or other relatives, in taxis, on vacations, in rental cars and so on.  And this does not include bigger kids on the border of the regulatory limits, who do not want to appear babyish to friends, who have already outgrown child restraints. With mifold there is no longer any excuse.  mifold is the most advanced, compact and portable device ever invented, it is more than 10 x smaller than a regular booster seat, and just as safe. Jon’s 25-year career has conveniently brought him to this point.  Senior executive roles with large established companies like Unilever and Johnson & Johnson, with digital pioneers like 888 Holdings PLC, as well as tiny start-ups and many consulting clients have given Jon a broad and varied experience.  Today Jon is uniquely placed to bring this all together as a lead development, manufacturing and distribution business that sells the innovative mifold® seat worldwide; over the internet and through traditional retail channels.
