Marc Kelly Conflict Sculpture
Conflict Sculpture is Bronze Design Award winner in 2019 - 2020 Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award Category.
Conflict Sculpture

The unique design for this sculpture sees strong form merge with bold colour through the contrasting stone sourced from across Europe. The result is a striking evocative design sculpted using a variety of traditional and modern techniques to capture the artists emotions to the subject. The two significant forms in question here have a subtle engagement, captured where the Irish Limestone has been carved to allow the contours of the Marble to settle onto its surface. The natural colour of the Limestone is revealed while the Marble exhibits an internal form through the chiseled square section.

Marc Kelly Sculpture

Marc Kelly is a sculptor based in Ireland. His works are created in beautiful form, confronting an ordinary vision off the world surrounding him. A skilled stone sculptor he uses all his technical abilities to evoke emotion through strong textures and aesthetically drawing designs. The materials he researches and works with provide the onlooker with a unique contrasting pallet which forms and important part of the overall theme for each sculpture.
