Bomapp brand name is a combination of “boheom (insurance in the Korean language) and “MAP”. Symbol, motif graphics, and overall design convey the image of "embrace", further strengthening the brand's identity. Bomapp’s logotype includes the letter “B”, which is meticulously designed to reflect the golden ratio. Designers used mathematically accurate designs to convey the image of trust and professionalism, which are the core value of the insurance industry. Also, the initial letter symbol “B” implicitly carries the brand’s essence.
Taiyoon Lee is the Chief Brand Officer of Bomapp inc. As a head of the company's design team, Lee has been in charge of Bomapp's brand identity & design, as well as mobile app UX/UI design since 2018. Lee and his team has won And Awards, iF Awards, and other local and global design awards.
