Frida Hultén Blue Multifunctional Dog Collar
Blue Multifunctional Dog Collar is Iron Design Award winner in 2019 - 2020 Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design Award Category.
Blue Multifunctional Dog Collar

This is not only a Dog Collar, it's a Dog Collar with a detachable necklace. Frida is using quality leather with solid brass. When designing this piece she had to consider a simple secure way of attaching the necklace while the dog is wearing the collar. The collar also had to have a luxurious feel without the necklace. With this design, a detachable necklace, the owner can adorn their dog when they wish.

Every Owner Is Unique - And So Is Their Dog. Born in Sweden, Frida spent two decades on an adventure, a journey spanning many cultures, countries and continents. In London, she discovered an insatiable passion for design. After an interior design course and a short stint in apparel design, she knew by instinct that her heart lay in the world of intricate items. Since then, she applies her passion to crafting jewelry – unique, beckoning, tactile, textural and beautiful – for canines and their admirers. Frida’s love of mystery, of the ancient world and for the life force itself that shows in each piece of her hand-made jewellery. Curious and open, she learns from each new environment she explores, allowing rare insights into a myriad of cultures and bringing an infusion of diverse influences to her work. "Everything we think or say about jewellery applies to our pets – dogs especially. Our dogs go where we go, eat what we eat, see more than we see. They’re part of us, part of our family. Dogs have been part of human life for at least 12,000 years. Their connection to our lives is deep and essential.” Her pieces encompass an ever-growing range of materials including antique trinkets, semiprecious stones, rare beads, leather, copper, brass, antique silver and other unique objects found during her travels through dusty markets. Her work has been featured in photography, charity, comedy, canine, hospitality, commercial, food and fashion arenas.
