It is made with paints on the toned paper, the final touch – on the graphic tablet. The designer combined figural imagery which illustrates the part of the text with frise compositions on the top and at the bottom, which details are psychologically connected with a figural image and make the illustration more expressive. His motto: “To work quickly means to work slowly, just without breaks”. Mykola chooses the road less traveled in his work. He thoroughly considers the topic he works upon and strives to finish the work. He learns to see complicated in the simple, uncommon in common, fascinating in average. Mykola takes an example from those people who realize their creative vocation as mission, aimed at establishing in the world the ideals of good and beauty, truth and justice, freedom and love.
This is a personal monogram of Mykola Lomakin. The designer in it connected the two letters "M" and "L", writing them in a square. According to Mykola, the geometric shape of the square is a symbol of sustainability and common sense. The monogram style was created on the basis of monograms of artists and engravers of the Renaissance.
