Alessandro Ciffo has been a creator artist in the world of art and the design since 1997. He is self taught, as well as being an own manufacturer, these are the key concepts in his journey based on the extreme research of the potential of silicone, the only medium he deems capable of fully expressing his emotions by creating artefacts that are hard to classify, a crossroads between art and design. He produces paintings, objects and installations simultaneously invoked by the desire to express points of view on the world and to experiment techniques and materials. He is convinced of the indispensability of the hands that can do nothing without the brain and vice versa. He expresses himself without falling into the obsession of perfection that brings the denial of the pleasure that is achieved instead by continual research into the unpredictable.
