One of the goals on the Ovo Lounge Chair design was to create a sleek but comfortable Lounge Chair that would fit into small spaces, to meet new lifestyle needs. The disproportional backrest size contrasts with the lightness of the structure and upholster, playing, visually, with balance. The combination of shapes and fabrics gives the Ovo Lounge Chair a strong personality, resulting in a contemporary yet warm piece.

Born in Recife, Renata Brennand belongs to a generation of young designers who share a global vision of design and understands the importance of functionality but believes in a creative perspective. Mixture of colors, materials and techniques as well as organic forms are a strong characteristics of her work. She has a postgraduate degree in Interior Design from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), with a short course in Furniture Design at Art Center College, as well as joinery and locksmith workshops. Renata Brennand brings an informal perspective to her designs, a result of her plural and multicultural background both in Brazil and in the US.
