Francesco Cappuccio Intersections Artwork and Japanese Table
Intersections Artwork and Japanese Table is Iron Design Award winner in 2018 - 2019 Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award Category.
Intersections Artwork and Japanese Table

Designed by Francesco Cappuccio, “Intersections” is an existential artwork which functions as a Japanese table. Drawing from the belief that six is the only number considered as harmonious with all other numbers, the black aluminum structure of the table is intersected with six cross rows meant to symbolize harmony in the void. The orthogonal table framing, hidden by the blackest black coating, symbolizes the irrational fear of the unknown or the mysterious. These elements draws it inspiration thought to be part of the artistic concepts as well as a structural features of the table.
