The restaurant is designed to embrace the dynamic street life of Greenwich Village of New York City. The design refrains from applying traditional patterns or symbols in the Western context and chose to play with contrasting color palettes with simple forms. The color inspiration came from a childhood memory of the early spring season in Northern China, when this type of food is made by families following the lunar calendar tradition.
