The Celebration of Diversity Fair happens every year in Medellín, Colombia and this piece was commissioned for the 2018 fair. The main theme is diversity and inclusion. With inspiration and research drawn from everyday life, this poster celebrates diversity with colors, textures and scale, depicting a multiple people hug that turns into a party in itself. It is a fun, colorful and entertaining composition, that enhances the differences in the characters through colors, clothing and objects. The image was used as the promotional image and transformed into merchandise for an all-age audience.

"Secretaría de Cultura, Alcaldía de Medellín" is a central organization that works to guarantee the fulfillment of the rights to culture of the citizens of Medellín and strives to strengthen the cultural, artistic and patrimonial fields. One of their biggest events in the year is the Celebration of Diversity Party, this is a public, three day event that, as the name states it, celebrates diversity with educational speakers, concerts, lectures, classes, food, shows etc.
