The design is intended to express the complexity of wine, which should have several dimensions. It is said that a inspiring wine shows "depth": so the label was designed multidimensional, achieved through an optical illusion: shadows were set for making the illustration looks sculptural. The wines are produced very close to nature and environmentally compatible – therefore wildlife is used as a key visual in a very characteristic form of representation. In order to express the individuality of the product, the font "Piroska" has been designed.
The Strehn Estate stands for pure, straightforward and distinctive Blaufränkisch wines. It is a family enterprise in the best sense. Pia, Patrick, Andy and Monika – who all bring significant competence in matters of the vine to the process, along with great pleasure in working together – cultivate some fifty hectares of vines up to sixty years of age in Mittelburgenland, Austria’s “Blaufrankisch Country”.
