The inspiration behind the Transforma collection comes from the pendant lights created by well-known designers. The designer's challenge involved both aesthetic and functional aspects, meaning reconstructing of the shapes and lines in small dimensions and creating interactive pieces that could be transformed in order to get a bit different pendant each time.
Ksenia was born in Moscow and has a master's degree in business administration. She's always dreamt of changing her path in life and now she is studying in British higher school of arts and design (Moscow). Ksenia seeks to create unusual but wearable objects that could fit the unique character of the owner. She prefers simple lines, enjoys interactivity and mechanisms. Ksenia is inspired by architecture, existing design objects and natural shapes.
Ksenia Zagaynova is a young jewelry designer from Russia. She studies jewelry design in the British higher school of design in Moscow and will graduate in 2019. She gains inspiration from studying the simple forms and clear lines of the contemporary architecture, urban rythms and design objects.
