The design inspiration of Whale Island kids club concept is from the location of the project, where Gulangyu Island is a pedestrian only island off the coast of Xiamen, Fujian province in southern eastern China. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The design use an artistic and futuristic way to represent this HappyLand kids club, where the whale skeleton, whale tail LED screen, the pirate ship cosplay area, the shooting ball game at the ball pool area, the multiple slides and jumping area are all part of the story of Whale island in 2518.
