The project is an interior space renovation of a 100-square-meter old house in Beijing, which was built in the 1990s. Designers make full use of furniture design, create more storage space, but also solve the small household storage problems. This is a work between the old building renovation and furniture design, hoping to respond to the complex needs of life, but also to bear the inner appeal of poetry.

Qingfan Zhang, well-known architect and interior designer, founder of Atelier ZZ. She has won many awards for interior design at home and abroad in recent years. And she is good at using modern concise aesthetic spirit to develop multi-dimensional description of space, and expresses rich and pure design essence by means of restraint and balance, representation and internal contradiction and unity. She likes to use design vocabulary to deconstruct the spatial connotation, and persists in deducing the design to the extreme, creating wonderful design works repeatedly.

The building studio was founded in Beijing by Zhang Bo and Zhang Qingfan. The building practice is based on the experience of pushing oneself and passing people. Through meticulous study of architectural design and writing, the modern evolution of traditional space is explored and the space for business, art and life is created.
