Azur from the Limari Valley is Chile's iconic spumante wine, characterized by its minerality and freshness. It has set a milestone in the history of Chilean spumantes by following the same methods and standards employed in the Old World for centuries. The Spumante Limarí winery strategically decided to embrace the organic production of vines and spumante wines achieving the first full organic production in 2018.

Spumante Limar is a winery devoted exclusively to the making of sparkling wines trough the method champenoise consisting in producing the second fermentation by aging the sparkling wine at least 18 months in the bottle. The vines and the cellar are located in the Limari valley producing the Chardonay and Pinot Noir grapes that are used to make their three main sparkling wine brands: Azur Brut, Gemma Brut and Gemma Rose. Spumante Limari was created in 2012 following the Italian sparkling winemaking traditions and techniques currently leaded by the Italian winemaker Carlo Franchini.
