The product is composed by three complementary pieces held together by an unusual structural system. Through a precise fit the steel frame attaches to the concrete base only by a pin, joining all its parts in a single structure. With no need of glue, screws or welding, its system allows a particular and clean aesthetic result through a simple and well resolved composition.
Sisters and architects graduated at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, they began their contact in the furniture design field through the development of interior design projects and training courses in London, Barcelona and São Paulo. With work experience in architecture and design offices, they aim to create a line of multidisciplinary thinking, exploring and incorporating different visions to their work.
Estúdio Parrado designs and manufactures contemporary interior products and furniture through the innovation of processes and focus on a clean, simple and original aesthetic. Based in São Paulo and created by the sisters Lilian and Luisa Parrado, one of the main goals of the studio is the development of pieces with strong presence, produced under premises such as innovation in structural systems, modularity and customization.
