The designers adopted the rotating motion of film reels as the theme of this cinema. Huge round plates with 2.8 meter diameter are arranged across the ceiling to form an enormous ceiling feature. The wood pattern and the lighting effect together create a sense of movement and suspension, resembling film reels frozen in the midst of rotation. In the auditorium, ceiling and walls are covered with small brown discs made from sound absorbing panels, as if film reels flying towards the audience.

One Plus Partnership Limited is an award-winning Hong Kong-based design company established in 2004, winning more than 450 international awards in the past 13 years. One Plus designs a variety of projects, including cinemas, restaurants, retail stores, club houses, sales offices, branding, and product design. In 2012, One Plus was the winner of Andrew Martin - The International Interior Designer of the Year Award, the first ever Asia design company who has won this honor. In 2013, One Plus was the first Hong Kong interior design company that has won the Gold Award in iF Design Awards, and won the Gold Award again in 2016. In 2014, One Plus was awarded the Overall Winner and Best of Competition by IIDA Global Excellence Awards, for the best design among 14 design categories. In 2015, One Plus won the Best in 10 Award in Best of Year Awards, being chosen as the best design in the previous decade.
