Creating the concept of the console table, the designer was inspired by the Byzantine architecture drawings. In designer's opinion the buildings plans outlines of that architectural period look extremely contemporary now. The console table design is based on the San Vitale Basilica in Ravenna plan and interior. Shape and volume are determined by the plan, while the colours and choice of materials are associated with the interior decoration of the Basilica. Capacious contemporary design cutting off all that is superfluous, but containing the historical heritage.
Julia graduated from the International Design School in 2015 and since then she has been engaged only in design. As a child, Julia dreamed of becoming an architect, and then forgot about it. But the need to create became more intense over the years. Julia was engaged in photography for more than 10 years. It was an analog and digital photography, and experiments with lomo technology, and even with a polaroid and a photo intensifier. She created her own photo projects in the genre Art Fashion, participated in exhibitions, cooperated with designers, stylists, models. She became a member of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia. At some point, photography was not enough for her, the need to realize her aesthetic sense became extremely high. In 2013, the road to Julia's childhood dream of becoming an architect began. Now she is an interior designer, and furniture is a small architecture.
Interior design development by Julia Eliseeva. I design residential, hospitality and commercial interiors in contemporary style. My goal is to create a holistic interior with idea and to realise it. I prefer to use colour and contemporary materials in my projects. My interiors and items can be called simple, laconic but spectacular. Good design is less design.
