Frida Hulten wanted the wearer to enjoy two quite different looks in one necklace. She considered all parts of the neck and torso, focusing on the back. The result is a necklace that can be worn back to front. Created on a polystyrene torso, the necklace is shaped to fit around the wearer’s neck. It has exact proportions so that the piece always drapes correctly.
Frida Hulten Design started with earrings in 2002 and had since developed and evolved to what it is today.
