Tribe variant is a women’s wear graduated collection which contained 7 outfits in total. The inspiration of this project is a juxtaposition which mainly deriving from African tribe art and modern cubism artwork. To deconstruct, exaggerate and transform these primary elements in certain way to present special visual appeals is the main method of manipulation for this project. Therefore, each look has been managed in different couture techniques such as printing, embroidery, applique and binding resulted in a wider variety but still in harmony for the collection.

Ye Peilian is a fashion designer.After had 4 years work on fashion industry she was determined study overseas to experience something quite new for her. She graduated in her MA degree with distinction and her collection be considered successful after launched on London fashion week 2016.She believes good designers are express their thoughts and feelings about life on the collection with story to tell .Also she considers a fashion designer should be with self-motivated while face failure ,because only in this way can keep consistent enthusiasm for the work of fashion design.
