D_X is a law firm whose acronyms correspond to the name of the holder. An elastic mark has been created, with no defined proportion and determined corporative color either. An elastic line has been used as metaphor, to explain a service adaptable to the problems of the future client.
After ten years studying and working in Barcelona mainly with the public administration, he came to Tenerife in 1985. In 1996, Valladares Diseño y Comunicación created a graphic design and visual communication services company specialized in corporate identity, with extensive experience in work with public administration and large companies. One of the sectors in which it has more experience is in the world of culture, since the first editions of the Teatre Grec of the Barcelona City Council, the Culture area of the COAC, as well as the Government of the Canary Islands, Cabildo de Tenerife, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna. In this sector he has developed all kinds of graphic projects; identities, cycles, edition, exhibitions, promotional actions, etc. In recent years, she has been working with INAEM, (National Institute of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture), where she has created the corporate image, web development, editing and generation of sub-brands. Since 2010 he has joined Expanish (Associated Spanish Consultants) for project developments in the Middle East. Among the most well-known works are the identity of the Government of the Canary Islands, Auditorio de Tenerife, a new image for Chafiras, Fuentealta, Inaem, Titsa, Bodegas Insulares Tenerife, Libby's, etc. During the last years he has obtained two Good Design (Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design of Chicago), three European Design Awards, a First Prize of the AEPD (Spanish Association of Design Professionals), several selections for the Spanish Select Yearbook, for the Eulda and three nominations to Designpreis Deutschland among others. Apart from his productive activity in the design world, he has been working for years as a collaborator in corporate identity with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of La Laguna, the Diego Estévez Art School and the European University of the Canary Islands. He is currently the President of the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Tenerife.
