The design is inspired by the name of the product, Sapfo, the tenth muse according to Plato, who was born in Mytilene (Lesvos). A hand-knitted net wraps every bottle, reminding the beautifying techniques that women in ancient times used for their hair and acting as a semantic reference to care and attention to detail. The packaging includes a tag, with a shape resembling that of ancient pottery pieces.

Οur studio also participated in the 1st International Biennale of Arts in the field of Graphic Design, in Santorini, in 2012, in the 1st ‘Balkan Locus-Focus Symposium’ of the Izmir University of Economics, in Turkey, in 2012 and in the 1st International Logo Biennale, in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia in 2008. Papadellis is a family business that specializes in the production and processing of olive oil in Mytilene, since 1980. Sapfo Extra virgin olive oil is a unique olive oil, meticulously collected from the mountains and dry areas of Mytilene (Lesvos). The net is hand-knitted and unique for every bottle.
