Sruthi Yathindradas Flo Underwater Plastic Collector
Flo Underwater Plastic Collector is Iron Design Award winner in 2016 - 2017 Social Design Award Category.
Flo Underwater Plastic Collector

Flo is a physical toy modelled after a fish, that when released into polluted waters can collect plastic. It is paired with a mixed reality game called Flograb that is connected to it wirelessly. The intended target audience are children who look towards understanding the extent of marine pollution and help by making a difference through engagement of community in a fun interactive manner. The game uses the help of an existing water clean up project's infrastructure, to aid in trash collection at the end of each game.
