The project conceived as an open space made by few raw and poor materials in contrast with polished green lacquered surfaces is inspired by the studio activity focused on infrastructures environmental impact studies on landscapes and urban areas, dealing with hard structure made of raw materials such as iron and concrete to be mitigated by soft structures and materials such as glass or green screens. The main challenge was to leave the working space as much open as possible to catch the light coming thought the uninterrupted window wall facing the street.

Carlo Berarducci is the leader of Carlo Berarducci Architecture, an awarded architectural firm based in Rome with projects and realized buildings in Italy and abroad. The studio deals with the design at all scales, from furniture and interior design scale to the scale of architecture and urban planning. With a consolidated experience in architectural design for residential projects including large developments the studio performed and realized a number of residential complex, and reached a recognized and rewarded experience in conversion and redevelopment in consolidated urban areas with contemporary languages and hight standards of details, receiving awards in national and international competitions and awards. The design approach of the firm starts from the ever-changing conditions at the base of each project, avoiding the search for a defined and repeated formal identity.

Between the main projects is Haus Bavaria, a private residence in an heritage urban site in Germany, the Luxury Oriental Day-Spa Kami Spa Parioli in Rome; the Libyan European Hospital in Libya; several residential complexes in Rome, Fregene, Olgiata; the Church of St. Augustine of Canterbury in Torre Maura, Rome. Carlo Berarducci graduated with honors from the University of Rome La Sapienza where he also obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in Theories of Architecture.
