The Up-Side-Down lamp is designed to produce ambient light with low energy consumption. By choosing the color of the cable, the Up-Side-Down can suit in any space. It can be placed in different ways, on the floor, on the table, at the ceiling. It is designed and manufactured with concern to sustainability, since it only uses two pieces of wood, with a simple manufacturing process, and the cable with it's fixture.

Sergios Fotiadis was born in Athens in 1972, he studied Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design, he has worked for Rubbermaid in the USA, Maddison Limited, in England, J.N.Leoussis advertising, and has taught at Vakalo school of art and design. In 2001 he founded the creative studio “We design”, with his brother Philip, and Theano Petridou, while, since 2005, he teaches at the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean, in Syros, since 2013 at the International Hellenic University, in Thessaloniki, and is a founding member and vice president of the non profit Organization «Organization Earth». He is involved in the design and production of objects, furniture and exclusive design, interior and retail design, set design, for television and theater, graphic design, sculpture.

We Design is a multipurpose design studio based in Athens, founded in 2001 by an Architect, a Product Designer and a Graphic Designer . We chose a name which describes exactly what we do: design anything that can be designed. A residence or public building, a home product, furniture or lamp, a logo or corporate identity.
