Jonathans Kitchen Restaurant is Iron Design Award winner in 2016 - 2017 Interior Space and Exhibition Design Award Category.
Jonathans Kitchen Restaurant

The design explores the possibility of engaging sophisticated crafts people like masons, metal fabricators to create spaces which could engage people through its spatial and tactile quality. Both the spaces have a distinct spatial quality, achieved by a controlled juxtaposition of materials and articulation of the the envelopes defining these spaces. The rugged textured surface of lime yellow color slate and articulated brick wall has been complimented with relatively plain grey bison board partition and stretched metal sheet with patina of rust.

Divya Ethirajan is the Founding Partner and Principal Architect. She graduated from R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. Her Architectural Thesis on Rejuvenation of Russell Market, Bangalore, won all India best thesis award in 2007 at National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA). Divya has interned with Arya Architects in Ahmedabad and continued working there post her graduation and thereafter with Hundredhands from 2006 to 2010. During this time she got to work on residential, commercial, hospitality and several award winning competition projects. In 2010, she teamed up with Pramod Jaiswal to start BetweenSpaces. Her keen sense of punctuality, simplicity and immense patience has been instrumental in developing the ethos of the practice. You will always find her smiling but don’t get deceived by her silence or her smiles because she is listening to every word you speak, processing it and working on the design solution. She is a multitasker.

The Curry House Foods Pvt. Ltd (“CHF”) is a boutique food and beverage operation established in India in July 2013 & promoted by senior professionals who have a wealth of experience and a tremendous network within the industry both in India and abroad. CHF owns and operates 3 brands across the bar, mid casual and premium dining segments initially in India but in the medium and long term internationally, via a mix of global franchising and equity owned outlets. CHF have tied up with the InterContinental Hotel Group to manage the Food and Beverage Operations in their future hotels pan India.
